TS808 | The "Holy Grail" of the Tube Screamers, made famous by Stevie Ray Vaughn and many other artists. Was introduced in the late 70's and produced until the very early 80s'. Reissued in 2004 once again due to demand for vintage TS808's and produced to current day. | Most originals have the ® symbol next to the Ibanez Logo on the top of the pedal. | Originals were
produced with both the JRC4558D and the RC4558P chip. A VERY few
originals included the TL4558P chip during one year of production. Reissue has the RC4558P chip with modern day replacements for other components |
When modding a reissue, we install an OpAmp socket, reinstall the JRC4558D chip and provide you the RC4558P chip. We replace the "modern day" components with the same type of components that were in the vintage pedal. (This is a time consuming process). High Intensity Green LED replacement upon request. |

TS9 | In 1982 this is pedal that was reintroduced due to the high demand of the TS808. Originals were produced until 1985. Reissued in 1993 and produced to current day. | Vintage TS9's have black OR silver label on the back WITHOUT the CE symbol. Reissues all have the CE symbol on the back. Originals also have a greenish coating on the capacitors, while the reissues have a tan coating. (Beware those buying these pedals without a label on the back, always look at internal components. | Originals
produced with JRC4558D OpAmp.
Reissues produced with TA7558P OpAmp. |
Install a socket for the OpAmp, install the JRC4558D chip and provide RC4558P chip. Replace needed internal components to replicate the TS808 circuit. We also replace the LED with an aesthetically pleasing High Intensity Green LED. |

TS10 | Introduced in 1986 due to discontinued TS9's. | Not reissued, all pedals are original. Case is plastic and pots are cheap IC mounting types. | MC4558P OpAmp | Install a socket for the OpAmp, install the JRC4558D chip and provide RC4558P chip. Replace needed internal components to replicate the TS808 circuit. This pedal has additional, intense internal component replacements. These are VERY time consuming and require heavy modding to replicate a TS808 circuit. |
